We understand that sometimes cancellations and missed appointments are unavoidable – however please be mindful that a therapist has been allocated to you, and generally your appointment cannot be filled by others at short notice.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment time, then please note we require 48 business hours* notice (i.e. this doesn’t include the weekend) otherwise a cancellation fee will apply. This is in line with the requirements set out by NDIS to help ensure therapy time can be fully utilised and applies to both NDIS and private clients.
If it is possible to provide you with an alternative (such as a Skype or phone session) we will make every effort to do this so that you can avoid the late cancellation fee (charged at 90% of your session time).
Alternatively, if you have an NDIS plan and we can utilise the time for approved activities outlined in your service agreement (such as liaison with teachers or other health professionals involved in your program; developing new materials and resources to support your plan; or updating your progress reports) then this non face-to-face activity can be booked against your plan instead.
